After School Archery Programs

Are you looking for a unique, exciting, and safe way to engage youth ages 7–17?

The Archery Experience provides National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) approved archery instruction and equipment for After School Archery Programs. Our programs are designed to teach safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fun and engaging way.

Our youth archery program offers a perfect combination of skilled, certified instructors, top-notch equipment, and indoor/outdoor shooting options, making us the optimal choice to start your archery journey. 

Learning archery offers a multitude of benefits for youths. It fosters discipline and focus as they master the art of aiming and shooting. Archery also promotes physical fitness, enhancing their strength, coordination, and balance. 

The sport instills patience and perseverance, as progress comes with practice and dedication. Additionally, archery builds self-confidence and self-esteem as youths achieve their goals and improve their accuracy. Archery, as an all-inclusive sport, offers a distinctive platform for fostering social interaction, teamwork, and friendly competition among individuals of diverse backgrounds, irrespective of race, gender, physical size, or disability. Overall, archery empowers all youths with valuable life skills and unforgettable experiences.

At the Archery Experience, we strive to provide our students with many unique and memorable experiences! During our 8-week Introduction to Archery Course, participants will acquire fundamental archery skills, compete in a tournament to showcase their new skills and receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course.

Students will learn:

• Safety Rules and Regulations
• Proper Stance, Grip and Anchor
• Proper Drawing and Nocking Techniques
• Proper Aiming and Release
• Sighting and Scoring Techniques
• Equipment Selection and Maintenance
• Shooting Basics and Common Problems
• Tournament Preparation

Students also have the opportunity to practice and hone their skills in a safe, fun and motivating environment. Our knowledgeable instructors will offer tips, tricks, and techniques to help unleash their inner archer!

Registration for our upcoming 2024 Youth After School Archery Programs begin August 15th, 2023.
